I and my friends have recently visited udaipur from mumbai. We have searched this place through trip advisor. As reives says it fits into the budget and is clean and is well connected to the city as it lies very close to sahelio ki badi and fateh sagar. The food from 24 carrat kitchen is deleicious including rajasthani to indian to western. The staff was well behaved, supportive and aware.

Will recommend it.

We stayed in the hotel during the long weekend of October 2-6, 2014 for two nights. It is conveniently located near Sahelion ki Bari, Sukhadia Circle and Fateh Sagar. The rooms are clean, wi-fi speed is good and food is freshly prepared reasonably taking care of the individual tastes of the guests. Buffet meals are available when the hotel is full or near full. Only vegetarian food is served in the hotel; however, continental choices are available. The best part of the hotel is its staff, which is polite, helpful and eager to serve. Our stay at Udaipur was short. Considering our prior travels and experiences, we were properly advised by the hotel as to which sightseeing places to select and which ones to omit, which resulted in our memorable stay at Udaipur.

A very decent hotel at a very affordable price. We were charged Rs. 2000 per night for the super deluxe rooms and Rs.400 for the extra bed. The service is good and the staff are courteous. The hotel is very clean.
The food is awesome like home cooked food.
If you are not looking for a luxury stay, this is the perfect place- clean and cheap.

Sahilajmera, New Delhi - Super Deluxe

We stayed at empire palace on Dussehra weekend. The location was perfect, little away from city, near to fatehsagar lake. Besides, the rooms were clean and the service was great. Food was average. Overall, a great place to stay in Udaipur.
